How to turn a PNG into an icon

To convert a PNG file to ICO, choose one image, select the sizes you need, then download the icon. Choose one size for a single-size icon or several to put all selected sizes into one file.

Supported formats and sizes

Choose a PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, BMP, SVG, or AVIF image. Animated images use their first frame. The available square sizes are 16, 20, 24, 32, 40, 48, 64, 96, 128, and 256 px.

Does the PNG to ICO converter keep transparency?

Yes. Transparent pixels stay transparent. Non-square images keep their proportions and are centered on a transparent square.
